Toomac Medical was
incorporated in 1984, and was responsible for the distribution
of the first disposable ophthalmic cannulae in New Zealand. The
range expanded quickly and today we continue to specialise in
the Ophthalmic market, covering both disposable and reusable
items, as well as Ophthalmic instrumentation and diagnostic
equipment. We have more recently expanded into the Optometry
market, supplying a large range of Orthoptic and sight testing
equipment.
Over the years, we have also expanded into a
broader surgical product range and using the same principles of
exceptional service standards, have achieved strong market
growth in medical compression, lymphoedema and fashion support
garments as well as a variety of related products.
Long term
relationships have been built with some of the world's leading manufacturers and in turn, quality service and
commitment to our customers has seen continuous growth in sales
and areas of representation.

Toomac Medical is privately owned with the
principal Directors, Ian MacFarlane and Robyn Kinnear, both involved in
the business on a full time basis.
Ian has over 24 years experience
in the ophthalmic industry, and attends ongoing training with
Internationals to keep abreast of the latest developments in ophthlamics.
Robyn specialises in the medical
compression divisions, and has been with the company for over 15
years. All of the team at
